Effective 5 November 2026
Raiselo is provided by Richville Torio, an individual developer ("we"). These terms apply when you use the Raiselo app, the raiselo.com website and the export viewer and verification pages. By creating an account or using Raiselo, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Raiselo. Questions go to [email protected].
The short version
- Messages and expense history can't be edited or deleted. Write everything as if a judge may read it one day.
- Raiselo keeps a record. It doesn't give legal advice, change a custody order or promise that a court will accept what you export.
- Raiselo records what parents say was paid. It doesn't move money.
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, and that's where you cancel them.
- In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Raiselo can't help you in one.
Who can use Raiselo
Raiselo is for parents and the adults they invite. You must be at least 16 and able to enter into this agreement where you live. Give accurate account details, keep your password and sign-in codes private, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account unless it wasn't your fault.
What Raiselo is, and isn't
- Not legal advice. Nothing in Raiselo is legal, financial, medical or counselling advice. Tone suggestions and other prompts are only suggestions, and you decide what you send.
- Not a court order. The calendar, an accepted swap or a confirmed custody entry shows what parents have recorded. None of them changes a court order or parenting agreement, and you remain responsible for following yours.
- No promise about courts. Whether a court, lawyer or agency accepts or relies on a Raiselo record is for them to decide.
- What verification means. A verification code shows that an export matches the file Raiselo generated. It doesn't show that what parents wrote in it is true.
- Not a payment service. Raiselo records expenses, approvals and settlements, and repeating expenses are logged automatically on their due dates. It doesn't send or hold money, and an entry doesn't prove a payment was made. Check amounts and dates yourself.
The shared family record
Raiselo is shared between the parents in a family, so please understand how that works before you add anything:
- The other parent sees the family's calendar, messages, expenses, vault and exports. People a parent gives read-only access see the parts that parent chooses, and anyone with a shared export link can view that export until the link expires or is turned off.
- Messages can't be edited, deleted or unsent once they're sent, and expenses keep a log of every change. We can't edit or remove entries for you or settle a disagreement between parents.
- If you delete your account, what you added stays in the family's record until its retention period ends. The retention schedule explains how long that is.
- Parents are responsible for who they invite and what they share. You can remove someone's read-only access at any time, but we can't recall a copy of an export that has already been downloaded or passed on.
Your content
What you add to Raiselo stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy, sync, display and process it only as needed to run Raiselo, including sharing it with the people your family's settings allow and keeping it for the retention period. You must have the right to add what you add, including information and documents about your children and other people. The privacy notice explains how we handle personal data.
Acceptable use
Don't use Raiselo to:
- harass, threaten or intimidate anyone, or to break a court order or protective order;
- add information or documents you know are false, or that you have no right to share;
- impersonate someone, join a family you don't belong to, or get into an account or data that isn't yours;
- alter an export and present it as genuine, or misrepresent what a verification result means;
- upload malware, probe or overload the service, get around its limits or security, or scrape it;
- break the law, or resell or copy the app except as the law allows.
Plans and subscriptions
- One plan per family. One subscription covers the whole family. The Free plan has the limits shown in the app. Paid plans and their prices are also shown in the app before you buy.
- Billing. Apple or Google bills you, and their payment terms also apply. We never see your card details.
- Renewal and cancelling. Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Manage or cancel in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription by itself.
- Free trials. If a trial is offered, the app shows its length. It turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel first.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. The contact page says how to ask. Your local consumer rights still apply.
- Price changes. We may change prices. Apple or Google will tell you as their rules require, before a new price applies to your subscription.
- When a plan ends. Paid features stop when a paid plan ends. Existing records stay in the family's record.
Our app and website
We own Raiselo's software, name, logo and design. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own family's needs and within these terms and the app store's rules. Third-party services and open-source components are covered by their own terms.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Raiselo running and its records intact, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of errors or never lose data. Features may change. Download copies of anything you can't afford to be without, especially before a deadline. If we ever close Raiselo, we'll give you reasonable notice and time to download your data where we can.
Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in the app under Settings, then Delete account. We may suspend or close an account if someone seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it's safe and lawful, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond and to download your data. Closing an account doesn't delete the family's record early, because the other parent relies on it. It's kept and deleted as set out in the retention schedule. Parts of these terms that are meant to continue, such as limits on liability, continue after the agreement ends.
Warranties and liability
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived, or limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for fraud or for death or injury caused by negligence.
Otherwise, and as far as the law allows, Raiselo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties that aren't written in these terms. We're not responsible for what parents or other users write or do, for decisions made by a court, agency or anyone else, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim about Raiselo is limited to the greater of what you paid for Raiselo in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.
Disagreements with us
If you have a problem with Raiselo, please write to [email protected] first, so we can try to sort it out. These terms don't take away your right to bring a claim in the courts, or to rely on the consumer protection laws, of the place where you live, if those laws give you that right. Disagreements between parents are not disputes with us, and we can't decide them.
If you got Raiselo from the App Store
These additional terms apply to the iPhone and iPad app:
- This agreement is between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
- Your licence is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow, including through Family Sharing where it applies.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the app's purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it doesn't meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection claims.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging any claim that the app or your use of it infringes someone's intellectual property rights.
- You confirm that you're not in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a "terrorist-supporting" country, and that you're not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you once you accept them.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Raiselo and delete your account.
The rest of the legal bits
If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later. You can't transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it to whoever takes over Raiselo, and that won't reduce your rights. The privacy notice and retention schedule explain how your data is handled, and they are separate from this agreement.
